I don't want to write a lot because I know all I will do is whine! Don't get me wrong, I'm not miserable or bitter or anything, just in pain!
So, I have been sleeping on the couch for the past week and it has been really good for my back and other sorenesses, but when Ryan and I set up our bed frame Sunday night, I was so excited to not just have a mattress on the floor anymore! So I decided to sleep on the bed again, what a mistake! I felt like crud all stinkin' day yesterday! It was the worst! I also felt nauseous all day long, though that didn't have anything to do with sleeping on the bed. I threw up twice. Now the count is up to 7. I also decided to start sleeping on the couch again...at least until we can get that knock-off Tempurpedic mattress topper from Sam's. ($100 bucks!)
I feel so pathetic! I cannot wait for this sickness to be over. I cannot wait to start showing. I cannot wait to feel the baby! I keep poking at my stomach for any sign of a growing belly. I feel bigger, but I haven't gained any weight and I don't feel like I am showing at all. I can't wait to go to the doctor with Ryan tomorrow. I feel like I am going insane!! I really really really want to hear the heartbeat.
Anyway, I do have some non-baby-related stuff going on as well! :-)
Yesterday was Ryan's parents 24th anniversary! They took us and Shannon (Ryan's sister) to Daniel's on 55 for dinner. It was way fun (besides the nausea)! This may sound weird but I am so proud of them for making it 24 years! I mean really, how many parents do these days?? We had a good time.
Also, my friend Becca graduates from her Fire Academy this Friday! Go Becca! She will be a full-time professional firefighter now! (She's crazy) Haha! I am so excited for her and proud of her!
Anyway, thank you for your prayers and thanks for listening to me! Hopefully I will have more fun baby things to talk about soon!

Baby Donovan,
You behave. Start moving and start showing.
Love,
Your Far Away Aunt Lindsay
Ann,
Eat lots of yummy food for me. Then just try and keep it down (all smiles). Keep up the whining and the status...for those of us who have no idea what you are going through it is WONDERFUL birth control. Ha!
Love,
Lindsay

Today, I felt kinda anxious. I had a dental appointment, which went 5x better than I expected. I kinda felt nauseaus too. I can't wait for things to just be normal again. It's amazing what your teeth can do to you. Anyways, I was totally craving some ice water today and just when I got over it, this huge stinking picture of ice water is on this whiney blog. Cheese would be grate, with this whine (now that's funny I don't care who you are). Anyways, I digress. So I had this killer run today, to New Bern, made like almost 600 bones today. Can't be anymore thankful (THANK YOU ABBA FATHER).
As for Lindsay's above comment. Your blog is great birth control for about 9 months, and then you have the baby, then everyone in your immediate network excluding guys want a baby. It's called the hen syndrome. A bunch of clucky hens hear a rooster crowing and they all flock and start laying eggs. Its very discouraging and difficult for us single Roosters.

Hello, my friend Michele Erdman gave me your blog URL. I am friends with her through our church. My name is Katherine and I'm 19, married, and I just found out I'm pregnant with our 2nd child! I can very much relate with you on the subject of nausea. I had it bad with Elijah (our son), or so I thought. But this time, it's worse than I could ever have imagined. It's about all I can do to try and keep up with dishes, laundry, cooking dinner, etc... the rest of the time is all "couch time". Food doesn't satisfy for long if I keep it down. It's weird to be going through this again. But anyhow I just wanted to tell you to hang in there and it really does get better (for most people)! :) We're not sure how far along I am. Anywhere between 1 and 2 months. Oh, I also get to hot at night, have the fan on, then wake up (and yes, have to pee!) and I'm freezing! Oh what fun it is to be pregnant. If you have a myspace page, you can find me under Michele's friends as "Kate". Well Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers! :)
